Every year the boys do a Stunt Show for the neighbors. In the old house we would h
ave half of the neighborhood turn out for treats and thrills. This year was our first time in this neighborhood and we have a LOT less young families with children who beg to go until their parents give in - - but even with a more conservative turn out, we had a great time. We had a few neighbors come, including our newest neighbors, Jill and Aaron, who came and stayed for quite a while playing basket ball, and Jill even took a spin on the bikes, to satisfy the kids. They also had the special treat - a boy from our OLD neighbor, who actually moved to California, came to visit the week they did the show. Jake was always part of the festivities, so having him here again was great.
Bikes are childhood at it's best.

Wow...we are already on the 6th installment???? You know you are creating someone's Christmas list for them! Mighty kind of you.
We also L-O-V-E riding bikes as a family! Sundays afternoons are our favorite. I wish we could have watched the show! We expect an encore performance sometime.
And I love the costume picture! You make the cutest witches!!
I remember long lazy days of summer and my bike. I can remember few other toys that brought as much joy to me.
If you'd had the show over on Daffodil Place, where all the action is, you could have set up three ramps, since the Boren's have a set. That would have been awesome!!!! Hmmm, maybe next year? And it's five miles to Tautphaus? Way to go me!!! We rode our bikes over there one day this summer and had a picnic. Carl pulled the kids in the trailer.
