Advent Day 16 - Temple Visitor's Center and Testimonies of Christ

This was one of my favorite nights. We drove to the Idaho Falls Temple Visitor's Center and looked at the beautiful statue of Christ that they have on display there. They have an audio presentation that they play as you look at it; music plays softly while scriptures from the New Testament are read - Jesus Christ's own words - as you sit and think of Him and what He has done. We saw and listened and then each person was given a paper and pen and they were able to write down their feelings about the Savior of the world. On the back of the Advent Calendar Amber sewed a pocket and we are storing the testimonies in there. Every year we will be able to write our feelings of Him and then also read how we felt a year before. It will give us a chance to see how our relationship with Jesus grows. It was a wonderful night.
